Black Poppy travels to Poland

Black Poppy Magazine is a health a lifestyle magazine for the drug using community. Written and created by people who use drugs - for people who use drugs, BP is a unique and essential port of call for any drug user. Our hard copy magazine is based in the UK and focuses on drug culture, drug policies /politics and drug history; we look at what we are using and how we are using it - striving to keep us updated and better informed, thus making safer decisions around drug use as well as being activists in our own communities.
Our e-zine (www.blackpoppy.org.uk) covers all the best bits from our magazine - the personal experiences (the good & the bad & the ugly), articles on overdose prevention, addiction and treatment, health and harm reduction issues for drug users, safer injecting information, the drugs we're using; benzos, opiates, stimulants, crack, coke, speed etc, and of course the hallucinogens, organic and synthetic - and some you haven't ever heard of.
Our Blogg and YOUTUBE channel will be a place to upload clips from BP's 'Drug Diaries' - our interviews, travels and recordings of fascinating drug related issues. Our first stop is the 18th International Harm Reduction Conference in Warsaw, Poland . On the 11th May 2007 Black Poppy goes to Poland, where we will be meeting up with all the latest news, views, research and opinion from harm reductionists from all over the globe. BP is particularly looking forward to meeting up with the world's drug user activists - and will be covering the launch of the International Network of People who Use Drugs (INPUD) for our readers in the UK. BP will be recording video and bloggs of the event. If there is anything you would like BP to find out more about, (see the IHRA website http://www.ihra.net for conference/programme details), please email or comment here.
